Safety EyeThe Directors of IDEC Ltd believe that an excellent Company is, by definition, a safe Company. Since we are committed to excellence, it follows that minimising risk to people (employed or contracted), plant (in design or construction), and products, is inseparable from all other company objectives.

 

To ensure that this commitment can be realised IDEC Ltd will:-

  • Take all practical steps to safeguard the Safety, Health and Welfare of all employees, contractors, customers and visitors to our premises and construction sites
  • Expect and encourage a spirit of co-operation between employees and contractors in all matters of safety, health and welfare allocate sufficient resources to provide and maintain conditions and places of work that are so far as is reasonably practicable safe and healthy
  • Issue local safety instructions to all staff and contractors with respect to accidents, first aid and fire ensure staff and contractors allocated specific duties under the Company Health & Safety Policy Document are competent to fulfil those duties by training or tests of competence

All IDEC Ltd staff undergoes in house competency training and site personnel carry a Client/Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passport. Specialist training has also been undertaken for:-

  • Confined Space Working
  • Restricted Operations Blue Card
  • IDEC Ltd is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. (ROSPA). View certificate.
